In coaching I offer two options:

Firstly, coaching for a particular situation: to help when preparing for difficult conversations or meetings and when faced with a stressful work environment.

This option is a two one hour sessions.  For the first hour we discuss the particular situation and then I send a write up of our meeting.  We then meet again to discuss how the difficult conversation/meeting has gone and any reflections there are.

The second option is to work over several, usually four sessions, to develop skills to work effectively with conflict. Topics can be adapted to suit a specific person or situation but with usually include:

recognising the emotional response conflict causes

analysing conflict situations

understanding personal conflict style and preferences

learning how to de-escalate
